Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 18, 2026 · Last updated: August 18, 2026
Pink Bow Party Rentals (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides party decor and equipment rentals in San Diego, California. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it under California law.
The short version: the only personal information we collect is what you type into our contact form. We use it to answer you and quote your event. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising, and this website sets no cookies and runs no tracking or analytics software.
Information we collect
We collect personal information only when you choose to send it to us. Specifically, our contact form asks for:
- Your name and email address (required, so we can reply)
- Your phone number (required, so we can reach you quickly about timing and delivery)
- The ZIP code where your event will be held (required, so we can confirm the location is within our delivery area and quote accordingly)
- Your event date and event type (optional — birthday party, baby shower, wedding, school event, corporate event, or other)
- Your message describing what you have in mind for your event
Under California law these fall into the categories of identifiers (name, email, phone number, and the ZIP code of your event, which indicates the approximate area of your event but not a precise address) and commercial information (details of the rental you are asking about). We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, driver’s license number, financial account details, health information, precise geolocation, biometric data, or any other sensitive personal information. Please do not include such information in your message.
We do not create customer accounts, and we do not process payments through this website. If you book with us, any deposit or payment is arranged separately — we will tell you how at that time.
Server logs. Like nearly every website, the web server that delivers these pages records basic technical request information: IP address, browser and device type (user agent), the page requested, and the date and time. We use these logs only to keep the site running, diagnose errors, and protect against abuse. They are not combined with your contact form submission to build a profile of you, and they are retained only for a short period before being rotated out.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to:
- respond to your inquiry and answer your questions;
- prepare a quote and check availability for your event date;
- coordinate the details of a rental you book with us — delivery, setup, and pickup; and
- keep our own records of inquiries and bookings.
We will not add you to a marketing mailing list from a contact form submission without your agreement, and we do not use your information to serve you advertising anywhere.
Who we share it with
We do not disclose your personal information to third parties except to the service providers below, who process it on our behalf so that your message can reach us:
- Formspree — handles the submission of our contact form and forwards it to us by email. Your form contents pass through and are stored by Formspree. See the Formspree privacy policy.
- Google (Gmail) — hosts the email inboxes where we receive and reply to your inquiry. See the Google privacy policy.
That is the complete list. We may also disclose information if we are required to by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order, or where necessary to protect our legal rights or someone’s safety.
We have not sold or shared personal information for money or for cross-context behavioral advertising in the preceding twelve months, and we do not intend to. We also do not disclose personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry emails for as long as we need them to serve you and to maintain ordinary business records — typically for the duration of our conversation, plus a reasonable period afterward in case you come back to us or a question arises about a past event. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time; see the next section.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights over your personal information. We honor these requests regardless of whether we are strictly required to as a small business:
- Right to know. You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, where we got it, why we collected it, and who we have disclosed it to.
- Right to delete. You may ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you. We may keep what we are legally required to keep.
- Right to correct. You may ask us to fix personal information about you that is inaccurate.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your personal information, so there is nothing for you to opt out of. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and provide a clear opt-out method before doing so.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will never charge you a different price, give you lower-quality service, or refuse to work with you because you exercised any of these rights.
- “Shine the Light” (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83). You may request information about personal information we shared with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information for that purpose.
You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may need to verify your identity — usually by confirming you control the email address or phone number used in the original inquiry — before we act on a request.
How to exercise your rights, or review and change your information
Email us at pinkbowpartyrentals@gmail.com or call (651) 368-1648. Please tell us what you would like us to do — send you a copy of your information, correct it, or delete it.
We will confirm we received your request within 10 business days and aim to respond substantively within 45 days. If we need more time, we will let you know. There is no charge for making a request.
Cookies and Do Not Track
This website does not use cookies. It sets no cookies of its own, allows no third-party or advertising cookies, and does not use browser storage to track you. It runs no analytics or advertising software. Our full Cookie Notice explains this in more detail.
Do Not Track. CalOPPA requires us to tell you how we respond to Do Not Track (“DNT”) browser signals. Because we do not track visitors across this site or any other site, there is no tracking behavior for a DNT signal to change — every visitor is treated as untracked whether or not DNT is enabled.
Third-party tracking. We do not allow third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activity across different websites through this site.
Children's privacy
Although we decorate a great many children’s birthday parties, this website is intended for adults arranging those events. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
How we protect your information
This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and your form submission is transmitted encrypted. We limit access to inquiries to the two owners of the business. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we do not retain more information than we need, which is the most effective protection available.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes — for example, if we begin using analytics or collecting information we do not collect today — will be described here, and we will note the change conspicuously on this page for at least 30 days. Your continued use of the site after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
