Cookie Notice

Effective date: August 18, 2026 · Last updated: August 18, 2026

This website does not use cookies.

We are not saying “only essential cookies” or “cookies you can opt out of.” We mean there are none. That is also why you will not see a cookie consent banner here — there is nothing for you to consent to, and interrupting your visit to ask would be theater rather than privacy.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store, so it can recognize your browser later. Cookies are what let a site keep you logged in or remember a shopping cart — and also what let advertising networks follow you from site to site to build a profile of your interests.

What this site does not do

  • No cookies of our own. We do not set any first-party cookies. You do not log in here and there is no cart to remember.
  • No advertising or social media trackers. There is no Meta/Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads tag, no TikTok pixel, and no retargeting of any kind. We do not build audiences from our visitors.
  • No analytics. There is no Google Analytics and no other analytics product. We do not measure your visit, your scrolling, or which photos you looked at.
  • No browser storage. We do not use localStorage, sessionStorage, or any similar technology to store or fingerprint anything on your device.
  • No third-party embeds. There is no embedded YouTube player, Instagram feed, or Google Map on this site, so no other company receives a request from your browser just because you loaded a page.

Two things that do involve other companies

To be complete, here is every point at which anything leaves your browser to a party other than our own web server:

  • Our fonts — served from our own domain. This site uses the Playfair Display, Lora, and Lato typefaces, which originate from Google Fonts. They are downloaded once when we build the site and are then served from our own server. Your browser never requests them from Google, so Google does not learn that you visited and no font-related cookie is set.
  • The contact form — only when you press Send. Our inquiry form is processed by Formspree, which forwards your message to our email. Nothing is sent to Formspree while you browse or while you type; the single transmission happens when you submit the form, and it contains only the fields you filled in. Formspree does not place a cookie on your browser through our form.

Our Privacy Policy describes what happens to the information in that form once we receive it.

Server logs

Cookies are not the only way a website can record something. Our web server keeps ordinary access logs — your IP address, browser type, which page was requested, and when. This is standard for any web server and is used to keep the site working and to block abuse. It does not involve a cookie, is not tied to your identity, and is not used for advertising or analytics.

You do not need to do anything

Because we set no cookies, there are no cookie settings to configure and no consent to give or withdraw. If you would like to block cookies generally as you browse the web, every major browser lets you do so in its privacy settings, and doing so will not affect anything on this site.

You can confirm all of this yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, look under Storage or Application, and you will find no cookies listed for this domain.

If this ever changes

If we later decide to add analytics or any other non-essential cookie, we will update this page before doing so, describe exactly what is being set and why, and ask for your consent where the law requires it. We will also update the “Last updated” date above.
